Moulinex Supralys Deep Fat Fryers

The Moulinex Supralys AKG531 is a simple, straightforward cylindrical type deep fat fryer that is targeted for those needing 1 or 2 serving sizes. There is a temperature dial on the front and an on/off button with indicator light. When the oil reaches the specified temperature the light goes out and you're ready to start frying.

The basket can hold 1.2Kg, but Moulinex recommends not to exceed 600g. Since the fryer has an oil capacity of just 1L this is probably a wise decision. Too much food relative to the volume of oil is always going to degrade the taste and texture of the food.

For safety, the basket can be raised and lowered with the lid closed and the lid can be removed for easy cleaning. Note that the bowl cannot be removed from the case, so the fryer is not dishwasher safe.
